A wonderful old antique jewel box, made of genuine tortoise shell and bone, as a treasure casket style, with claw feet, steel studs and engraved peirced work design on all side, likely Indian or Ceylonese origin, and antique pre 1900 era Victorian era In excellent condition.. some of the bone cornices move around a bit yet all attached well by metal studs and no cornices absent, a small corner of peircing missing measures 115mm across x 90mm width, 60mm in height
