This ceramic antique tray handpainted in a style that was known as Norfolk.I bought this at an antique auction.The description said it was a first period Royal Doulton piece done in Delft style.It does not have like many of the very older pieces a mark or stamp.Personally looking at the glaze I think it’s much older than 1896.It has some crazing and no cracks but on the back there is two spots where the glaze did not perfectly cover the pottery layer.The front is good ,no chips .Size is 34 cm x 34 cm and 8 cm deep.I can package and post at the buyers expense,it could be picked up to as it will have to be posted in a large box.
