Description
The ultimate Treaty of Waitangi and Declaration of Independence collection.
We are one country, with one person one vote, and our Democracy is based on 2 documents. The first is 1835 Declaration of Independence which the United Tribes declared Sovereignty, and 2nd document, the Treaty of Waitangi, with which Governace over Aotearoa/NZ was seeded to Queen Victoria and her successors.
This collection is a copy of the 1877 prints and has the #1 frame (signed 6th Feb 1840) as a complete sheet, not the water damaged rat nibbled original as at NZ Archives and Te Papa (see photo #3). This set has traveled North Island Colleges bringing clarity and knowledge for Students and Teachers. The 9 Treaty frames includes the #3 sheet which is the only sheet written in English and that was written a month after the original #1 was presented to Maori in Waitangi.
This collection is unique. Cannot be brought in any shop. I will personally deliver the collection anywhere in Aotearoa/New Zealand.
Te Tiriti o Waitangi and He Whakaputanga are the two Foundation documents and the collection also has a description of each signatory, their Iwi, and Hapu.
Payment of $10,000 deposit and balance on day of delivery.
