A scarce and beautifully preserved original 1842 folio page from The Illustrated London News, featuring a striking engraving of Port Wellington, New Zealand — one of the earliest published images of Wellington Harbour — alongside a “View of Tahiti” with an article on the French annexation of Tahiti.

This page also contains a historic article on the death of Captain William Hobson, the first Governor of New Zealand.
