A difficult set to try and find the right section to advertise this.

We have here an extremely old and Genuine J.Russell Green River works Carvery set.

J. Russell are World widely know and famous for their very collectable GREEN RIVER Cutlery and knives. The Stag used on this set is absolutely some of the best I have seen, just incredible. The Carbon Steel on both the Knife and the Fork is in superb condition.

Everything is as tight as the day they were made, one of my highlights in my carvery sets. The chance to obtain these Green river items again with this quality Stag and in this condition would be extremely hard.

A tough decision today placing these up for sale as I know I wont get something like this again, but as I have stated in earlier auctions, this is a turning point of my gathering :-)

The Knife is BIG! 14 inches long, That beautiful Blade is 9 inches of that. The Fork is just under 11 inches long, The Hand guard still works just fine with no wobble at all! The Stag handles as you see are in superb order, this is THE perfect way to Haft Cutlery with Stag- very thin yet the stag still retaining all highlights of the exterior Bark, this is real Antique Quality you are looking at here under one of the most collectable names in the Cutlery World - GREEN RIVER.
