The Great Wave off Kanagawa metal enamel pin.
The Great Wave off Kanagawa, also known as The Great Wave or The Wave, is a woodblock print by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai. Made sometime between 1829~1833 in the late Edo period, it is the first print in Hokusai's series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. Hokusai's most famous work, plus a famous piece of Japanese art around the world.
Whittaker's recent "Match and Pistachio" white chocolate limited edition flavour, the art on the packaging looks inspired by the Great Wave.
Great pressie for art lovers and Japanese history buffs.
