Description

This is an early black chased ebonite Swan Eye Dropper fountain pen made by Mabie Todd and Bard in the USA during WW I, it comes with an eye dropper in its original black vellum covered box, which is a little tatty but good for it’s age. The pen is clearly marked with imprints including the manufacturers name and trade marks and model number and ‘Made during the war’. The nib is a solid 14 ct very flexible fine #2 Swan. There are some tooth marks on the section but the pen is most likely in ready to write condition after perhaps 80 years of sitting in it’s box.
