Description
Up for auction from a deceased estate collection is this miniature cast iron Royal Coronation Coach, a popular toy from the 1950s, associated with the 1953 coronation of Queen Elizabeth II manufactured by the Crescent Toy Company, a British company known for its diecast and cast iron toys.
The Coach is a miniature replica of the Gold State Coach, the historic vehicle used for the coronation procession and is complete with horses riders and riderless horses. All the wheels work and the fronts ones also turn. Approx length is 310mm.
There is also an additional smaller open top carriage with horses riders & riderless horses however this one appears to be missing the hook that attaches the horse bit to the carriage. Approx length is 110mm.
I have no other knowledge on this other than what is stated here so please read description carefully and look at pictures closely sold as is where is.
