Description
LAST CHANCE before it’s withdrawn
I'm not sure about the provenance of this brass miners lamp. I vaguely recall acquiring it in the UK sometime last century and it's been in storage for the past 25 years.
It appears to be an authentic E. Thomas & Williams "Cambrian" miner's lamp, bearing the prestigious E.T.W. mark and what I assume is a Welsh authenticity stamp.
According to Gemini:
"With the serial number of 17870, this genuine piece likely hails from the 1920s to 1940s, offering a tangible link to a bygone era of industry and heritage.
Crafted from solid brass, its robust construction and timeless design embody the spirit of Welsh mining. Perfect for collectors, history enthusiasts, or as a distinctive decorative piece for your home or office. Don't miss the chance to own a true classic."
I don't know whether or not that's correct but it's in very good condition, so I'm assuming it hasn't been used in a mine.
