Hand forged pair of fire tongs, for scrolling hot, fine work.
Featuring a wide mouth for ease of access and plenty of strength in the jaw to resist the twisting forces involved in scrolling work.
Made to last a life time from 1018 steel which can withstand repeated quenching in water.
Approx. 300 mm in length.
As with all of my tongs, each set is individually crafted and may not be exactly identical to the example photos shown, but very close to it. That's the beauty of something unique that hasn't come out of a factory.
