Rare Vintage “2.1/2LB DANIEL SILCOCK, DRONFIELD” Kent pattern axe /hatchet head.

Rare Daniel silcock manufacturer, Made in DRONFIELD steel works. Stamp has been bashed a bit, either as the axe was possibly stolen at one point, or someone was very loyal to another brand?haha. Stamp once read: DANIEL SILCOCK MANUFACTURER DRONFIELD” And the weight stamp still visible as well as the “STEEL HEAD” stamps on the butt end of both sides. No chips, no cracks.

Measurements: Blade: 120mm Butt to blade: 190mm Weight 1.15kg

*this is the first time this axe will be sold in Nz marketplace, as is the case with 99% of my axes. I have gathered most from the uk and USA over the past 15 years.

I will be letting go of quite a large percentage of my axe and hatchet collection here on trade me, all types of patterns and origins and quality's (from mint to Rusty). There will be both with and without handles and some very nice handles by them selves. will not be doing pick ups, so post only.
