Rare near mint "2 1/2Lbs PARDOE AND CO 1950" stamped English Kent axe (Army issue) With original handle.

Approx measurements: Blade: 115mm Butt to blade: 190mm Handle: 590mm Weight (with handle): 1.4kg / 3Lbs

A rare one In near perfect condition. Stamp is in excellent condition, it reads (2 1/2Lbs PARDOE AND CO LTD 1950^” No cracks or mushrooming, it has one tiny chip off one of the bottom Kent tips. Other than that, it bears no signs of use. I have refitted the original handle and carefully sharpened the blade. as it was on my axe display wall it is already in immaculate “collectors” condition. The handle is a nice naturally darker tone and the head is coated in a beautiful aged patina. This is a great addition to any vintage tool collection.

*this is the first time this axe will be sold in Nz marketplace, as is the case with 99% of my axes. have gathered most from the uk and USA over the past 15 years.

I will be letting go of quite a large percentage of my axe and hatchet collection here on trade me, all types of patterns and origins and quality's (from mint to Rusty).
