Description
Old New Zealand Defence Department (broad arrow) billhook. Stamped NZD (broad arrow on the wooden handle. Overall length is about 41 cm, blade length is about 26.5 cm.. I cannot see any makers name on the steel, a very useful tool, I would think probably WWII or earlier. The steel is very thick, about 5 mm or 0. 5 cm at the back of the Billhook. Please see all my pics.
