I've been working on this new design of tongs for a while now. These tongs have offset jaws which allow stock to be held anywhere along it's length, not just on the end, like most other designs. They can also hold the stock across the jaws at right angles and provides great versatility once your straight bar gets shaped to have a few curves in it.

I make to order, and can be forged to hold round stock of diameters 8, 10, 12 or 16mm, or square stock of sizes 10, 12mm or 16mm.

Made to last a life time from 1018 steel which can withstand repeated quenching in water.

As with all of my tongs, each set is individually crafted and may not be exactly identical to the example photos shown, but very close to it. That's the beauty of something unique that hasn't come out of a factory.
