Beautiful condition vintage JENKS AND CATTELL (made in England) D/sided stamped axe with original handle

Approx measurements: Blade: 85mm Butt to blade: 130mm Handle: 300mm Weight: 500grams

Beautiful condition, with original red paint and original embossed handle. It has seen hardly any use in its long life and has hung amongst my axe collection proudly for the past decade. Although it is a amazing display piece, it is also ready to swing. The handle is tightly fitted and the blade is fairly sharp. Both stamps are in excellent condition and Embossed lettering on handle in nice condition. No chips or cracks.

*this is the first time this axe will be sold in Nz marketplace, as is the case with 99% of my axes. have gathered most from the uk and USA over the past 15 years. I will be letting go of quite a large percentage of my axe and hatchet collection here on trade me, all types of patterns and origins and quality's (from mint to Rusty).
