This lovely little antique Brass and Steel combination padlock was "cracked" by a buddy of mine who loves to play with old antique padlocks
He was able to re-set the previously unknown combination to "Phil"
When the padlock is in its open-state? you are able to shuffle the cogs of the combination to set your own four letter word combination
If you wish? you could easily change the 4 letter combination to "Love" (Or Hate!) or anything else that met your fancy
AGE = unknown but certainly well over 100 years of age
I would GUESS that is dates Circa 1850
It will certainly make a VERY FINE ADDITION to any vintage or antique padlock collection and may very well be one of the older examples for addition to your collection
ONE ONLY so don't miss it
