A finishing hammer, SNAP ON brand a type of auto body hammer used for shaping metal and removing dents from vehicle panels. Auto body hammers are used in combination with body dollies to achieve smooth results during repair or restoration work. The hammer shown is a cross-pein hammer, a type of auto body hammer with a flat face and a pointed or chisel-shaped pein.
