Vintage “KELLY” hewing axe/ hatchet head. (Large)(R/handed)

Approx measurements: Blade: 145mm Butt to blade: 180mm Weight: 1.4kg

The top Kent tips have been filed down a bit to get rid of mushrooming. Nice stamps, on bevelled side it reads “KELLY AXE AND TOOL WORKS. CHARLESTON.W.VA. U.S.A.” , And on non bevelled side is the “TRUE TEMPER” stamp.

*this is the first time this axe will be sold in Nz marketplace, as is the case with 99% of my axes. have gathered most from the uk and USA over the past 15 years. I will be letting go of quite a large percentage of my axe and hatchet collection here on trade me, all types of patterns and origins and quality's (from mint to Rusty). There will be both with and without handles and some very nice handles by them selves. will not be doing pick ups, so post only. Please make contact within 3 days of auction ending.
