Vintage Balinese Indonesia Hand Carved Wooden Sculpture. Beautifully Carved Wooden Fisher Man Sculpture Asian Figurine Statue 360 mm tall till the fisherman cap and including the fishing rod / string, it is 645 mm tall. Width; 200mm. This sculpture was created in Bali, Indonesia around 1950 and is made of high quality light wood. The image has been worked out in deep detail and is a nice addition to any home. Truly stunning wood carving of a fisherman and historic struggle. Hand carved from a single piece of warm red-brown wood of differing shades. Intricately carved with wonderful attention to detail, as can be seen in the fish scales, flowers, snakes and particularly the man's face. The piece is carved front and back making it very rare and an excellent example of hand carving. Finished to an excellent quality; finely polished.
