Description
New item from Waihalla, the afterlife for wood - hand made on Waiheke Island.
Made from native New Zealand kanuka, carefully dried for several years. The base has a live wood edge, as does the front of the left "flame" - the top cut of which reveals some beautiful growth rings. The right "flame" is a result of the natural splitting of kanuka that often happens when it dries out - but it doesn't happen quite so perfectly very often.
Polyurethane finish.
Base 265x160mm, height 730mm, weight 3.5kg.
