Description
A wonderful NZ Surrealist Artwork by the regarded Artist Vivian Ward. It is a Mezzotint or Etching Titled "Swan Song", and this is number 1 of 15 produced by the Artist. ( Please note: The main photo shows some reflection of me taking the photo )
Vivian Ward was born in Greymouth on the West Coast of the South Island, and specializes in Etching, Lithographs and Screen printing.. although she has also worked in Oils and Acrylics. ( Works by the artist are held in the Canterbury Art Gallery)
It is framed behind glass, and the frame measures 380mm by 375mm. The picture itself measures 135mm by 120mm.
The frame shows a small loss at the top right corner..and the Border Matt shows a little light spotting close to the frame. ( Hard to see if not pointed out). The artwork itself is spotless.
