This is a rare piece by a highly revered artist.

'Cloud Landscape I' is a limited edition dry point etching produced by Webb in 1973. The frame is fragile and would benefit from being replaced - it is likely the original frame.

About Marilynn Webb:

Marilynn Webb was born in Tamaki Makaurau and is a descendent of Moe Ngaherehere, the 47th signatory of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Educated in Opotiki, Bay of Plenty, she went on to study at Ardmore Teachers’ College and Dunedin Teachers’ College.

Webb committed to printmaking as her main artistic mode in the 1960s and established herself as a leader in the medium. Across her long career, she has engaged in a social commentary about environmental concerns, feminist issues, and Maori and postcolonial history.
