Description
Rare Large print of the image used on the Melodrama Album Cover This was part of the 2017 promotion of Lorde's Melodrama album done exclusively for JB Hi-Fi and would be a great addition to any fans collection.
This has hung on the wall in my foyer for 8 years now, but I think it's time to move on to a new fan. It measures 1000mm x 1000mm (1m x 1m) and so will need to be collected from West Auckland. It is a print on a stiff foam board and has a few bumps around the edges as shown in pics.
Key Details Artist: Sam McKinniss Medium: Oil and acrylic on canvas (ORIGINAL) Process: Lorde discovered McKinniss's work and initiated contact by email. They discussed the project, and McKinniss painted the portrait for the album. Inspiration: McKinniss was inspired by Vincent van Gogh's "Self-Portrait" and Toulouse-Lautrec's "Le Lit" to create the portrait's mood, temperature, and texture. Significance: The cover artwork is considered an iconic blend of fine art and pop music, capturing the emotional depth of the album
Nice piece of Lorde history that makes an impact on any wall.
Buyer must pick-up due to the large size and fragility of the piece. Delivery in Auckland may be possible.
