An original vintage watercolour painting by the NZ artist Dorothy Frances Paterson(1895-1996). The artist's signature is in the bottom left corner.
A particularly inviting warm 'summery' scene featuring a pathway into a floral, shrub and tree landscape.
Dorothy Paterson exhibited with the Canty Society of Arts between 1954 and 1976. She also took part in the Hays Art Competition of 1963.
The visible watercolour measures 26cm by 32cm(the frame 49cm by 55cm), it's protected behind glass, in good condition and ready to hang.
