A small vintage etching of "Glen Orchy, Scotland" pencil-signed by John George Mathieson(1881-1955), with condition issues. The issues can be seen in the photographs - the etching has a few brown age spots and the mount surround has marks.

John G Mathieson lived in the Stirling region of Scotland and painted and etched the Scottish landscape. The location of this etching is known as Glen Orchy and is the place the NZ location, Glenorchy, is named after. Mathieson exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy and Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts. The highest auction price realised for a Mathieson etching is $300 USD.

This etching measures 21cm by 14.5cm(the frame 38cm by 34cm), it's protected behind glass and ready to hang.
