Description
An antique colour lithograph("Vue de la Bastion") by Ernst Arnold, Dresden(1792-1840). Given it's age, not surprisingly there is spotting on the inside of the glass.
Ernst Arnold established his printing/publishing art business in Dresden in 1818. This particular lithographic image features a view of the Elbe river valley southeast of Dresden at a place called the bastion. Even today it is a popular tourist attraction with it's dramatic panoramic view.
The artwork measures 29cm by 23cm(the frame 38cm by 34cm), it's protected behind glass and ready to hang.
