Description
A vintage UK etching by T Stead featuring Flordon Village, Norfolk but with an interesting message pertinent to NZ found at the back.
Finding the glass broken, I removed it and in so doing, discovered a remembrance handwritten by a then NZ Labour MP for Hamilton West, Martin Gallagher, in respect of Waka(+ Elaine) Heperi QSM(1927-2008). The etching dates to the early/mid-20th century and the message, written on the backing board, to the latter half of 2008.
The etching measures 13cm by 10cm and it's frame 22cm by 27cm.
