Medieval deck of cards – perfect for Living History

This is a new, unopened deck of reproduction medieval cards, based on an extant example.

(From memory, this design is from the HRE in the mid-to-late 15th C.)

This deck is still wrapped in its plastic shrink-wrap, and in a hard plastic card case for protection – just open and swap out to a cloth bag or wooden box.

Cards measure 89 x 57 mm, or 3 ½ x 2 ¼ inches.

While actual medieval card decks didn’t have rounded corners, this isn’t something members of the public will likely know. If you’re wanting them to have 90 degree / sharp corners, it would be a fairly simple job for a printery / bookbinder to trim them, if you’re really that keen!

Medieval card decks aren’t that common, and make a great touch for Living History, medieval re-enactment, SCA, and so on.
