A fine vintage print of the 1881 etching titled "An Episcopal Visit" by Leon Augustin Lhermitte(1844-1925).
Lhermitte was a well-respected French artist - amongst his 'fans' was Vincent Van Gogh who once wrote "I am too preoccupied by Lhermitte this evening to be able to talk of other things". He is represented in major world galleries and museums and the original etching of "An Episcopal Visit" or an antique print is held in the collection of the National Gallery of Art, Washington DC.
The visible image measures 17cm by 20cm(the frame 23cm by 37cm), it's protected behind glass, in good condition and ready to hang.
