Description
A small original 1975 artist's colour print(8/45 limited edition) titled "Fallen Leaves" by UK, Suffolk printmaker/artist Michael Carlo(b1945).
Michael Carlo studied at the Colchester School of Art 1961-64 and at the Royal College of Art(Printmaking)1965-67. He taught part-time at the Harrow School of Art and Southend School of Art and by 1972 had his own etching press. He produced original prints for Christie's Contemporary Art and even poster art for London Transport.
Carlo was elected a Member of the Royal Society of Painters & Etchers and has exhibited at the Royal Academy London, Bolton Museum, Southampton City Art Gallery and the Serpentine Gallery.
Although small, the colours and details of the image along with it's decorative frame make this a desirable artwork, that can either be hung or stood up on a flat surface.
The colour print measures just 8cm by 12cm(the frame 15cm by 20cm), it's protected behind treated glass and in good condition.
