A striking and intriguing original signed and framed pastel drawing. The artist has signed with initials on the bottom right corner of the surround and dated '97. Beneath the image, to the right, is text giving a dictionary definition of an angel. Please note, I struggled to take clear photographs because of the reflective nature of the glass and given the general dark background of the artwork.

The scene is of an angel with unusual distinctive features. For example, the neck is long and the face in profile is quite 'flat', almost part human part alien. The angel's fingers are long and the foot is wide with short toes. Beside the angel, we can see a church on 'high' and above it to the left there appears to be a foreboding figure as a dark force emanating from the clouds. Altogether this is a fine, interesting and thought-provoking original artwork.

The visible pastel measures a substantial 40cm by 51cm(the frame is large at 65cm by 80cm), it's protected behind glass, in generally good condition and is ready to hang.
