Description
The colour photo was taken in 2012 by an award-winning travel writer and photographer. It was taken in the mountains of the North-eastern Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh on the road between the towns of Ziro and Daporijo in the Apatani Tribal area.
The photo was printed and mounted on rigid pvc by the graphics company DAC. Because of the pvc frame, the photo floats 8mm off the wall.
The panel measures 1metre x 600mm and can be hung with two small pins/brads that hook into the undercut of the pvc frame.
To have the photo printed and mounted cost $170. It has never be hung or displayed.

(From previous listing watchlist - Rachael - free delivery this Sat. to Wgtn Rebekah - free delivery this Sun. to Levin) Seller comment Thursday, 15 May 2025 Hi, Is the pink speckled surround part of the picture or is that the wall/background surface? Thx r*******1 (1257 • 6:38 am, Wed, 21 May )Hi - the speckled texture is the carpet that I laid the photo on to photograph. I have added a new photo to the listing that is cropped to the edge of the image. mogidishu (292 • Wednesday, 21 May 2025 )Hi, So it can’t be hung with cord and picture hooks? Maybe it’s a very lightweight frame arrangement? Thx r*******1 (1257 • 9:29 am, Wed, 21 May )No - it is not very lightweight - you could just use two picture hooks as there is an undercut lip on the back of the frame that could just sit on the picture hooks. There is no need for a cord. If you really wanted to use a cord, you could buy two D rings from a picture framer and superglue them on to the back of the frame, tie your cord to the D rings and hang it but there really is no need whatsoever to use a cord. mogidishu (292 • Wednesday, 21 May 2025 )
