THE ARTIST

Bernard Villemot is regarded as one of the finest post-war French graphic artists. He was known primarily for his iconic advertising images for Orangina, Bally, Perrier and Bergasol. Greatly influenced by the Bauhaus Villemot had a sharp artistic vision and for a unique ability to distill an advertising message to a memorable image with simple, elegant lines and bold colours.
