Old print in wooden frame with wooden surrounding matt. Frame poss oak (?) Guesstimate from 1940s. I think I have seen this print in the Waikawa Musuem. I think this picture was on a calendar during the war (?)

Frame approx 42cm wide x 35cm high. Actual visible picture approx 29 x 21 cm. Very good condition. The wooden surrounding matt has a slight raise in in approx 10cm from the right hand side at top - refer picture. Pretty fabulous condition.

You are correct in your comment about van Nortwick This Magic of the Dawn Print is not by Maxfield Parrish - it is a Chester van Nortwick who painted in a similar style.

Another TradeMe member it advised 'Made in Canada' on the left hand side but personally I cannot read this.
