Cot hasn't got bite marks and has almost no wear and tear on outside. We put a small side guard up that tied under the mattress and took the cot side off before transitioning to a full single bed and the guard caused minor paint wear under where the mattress sits. This is in the photo. This is not visible with the mattress in. Outside of this in excellent condition.

Mattress is a Grotime Total Breathe Easy System. In excellent condition with no marks. It was always used with a mattress protector.
