Description
This iconic Australian newspaper / magazine was started as a weekly in 1933 by Frank Packer and Ted Theodore to feature local women's interest stories and to have a national focus. It was well supported by many local authors and artists. By 1961, it was circulated to 800,000 readers.
This edition from my eclectic collection of magazines and comics has survived numerous house moves and many hands reveling in its literary delights from 60+ years ago! The condition reflects that, but it is still in a very readable condition.
The Special Feature section includes early photos of, and information about, Princess Anne and the Queen's Jewels. Other sections within the magazine are: Regular Features; Entertainment; Home and Family; Fiction and Fashion. It has 64 pages, both colour, and black and white.
The buy price does not include delivery. I am prepared to negotiate the shipping of this item with the buyer at their risk and expense. All care will be taken with packaging.
