First Edition Romer Grey book. The Fisherman under the Southern Cross.

This is a rare first edition copy of Romer Grey (son of Zane Grey) second book following in his fathers footsteps and reporting on their trip to New Zealand in 1929. They fished for marlin, sharks and swordfish as well as the smaller sportfish of New Zealand waters such as our kingfish (known to them as yellowtail). The book is in very good condition and has a good dustjacket (one small tear) which is covered by a fitted mylar cover for protection. It is unclipped, showing a price of $2.00. There is no foxing on the pages and all pics are intact.
