The Roll of the Drum by R M Jephson (1880) First Edition A/F

A rare first edition of 'The Roll of the Drum', a collection of military stories by R M Jephson, this volume is 'clean' but incomplete (it ends at page 368) and essentially unbound. It has an original bookplate. I have not found another example of a first edition, but later editions in good order fetch high sums.
