Sold as a job lot of all 58 editions ranging from December 16 1939 to January 30th 1942. There are gaps with weeks missing but it easy to follow the flow as each week gives an update on the current situation in the various theatres of the war as it develops. Fascinating reading as they describe it as it happens; the Dunkirk, the Blitz - Battle of Britain, shipping losses, through to the USA joining the allies. Campaign maps, schematic plans of planes and ships, many photographs of interest including the extent of destruction in Britain and other countries involved. Condition - remarkably good considering they are over 80 years old and printed on the poor newsprint available in the war years. Many staples have rusted through and there is fraying around the edges but all still very readable. A must for anyone interested in this era.
