The book contains both the original German text and a new English translation. The German text is an exact facsimile of the original 1787 publication "Cook der Entdecker. Versuch eines Denkmals" and is printed in gothic script. 276 pages with 9 illustrations. Bound in quarter tan kangaroo with marbled papered boards. Gilt title on burgundy vignette on spine. 248mm x 212mm. Superb condition.
