Description
Two beautiful, unique, stained glass windows made in the traditional manner with coloured glass supported by lead cames. The artist glass-maker is John Abramczyk. They are made with a second pane of toughened glass for protection. The toughened glass pane faces the outside of the building and the stained glass window faces the indoors. There is a space of approximately 7cm between the two layers of window. These windows were made for a church which was never built. They are "as new" as they have never been used in any building. They depict Mary, Mother of Jesus, and Joseph, the Carpenter. The frame is solid NZ rimu. The glass area is 202cm high and 69cm wide and the frame is 5.5cm across the face and 16cm in depth. With the extra depth and width of rimu at the foot of each window the total size including frame is approximately 232cm high x 80cm wide. These are very heavy pieces of artwork. Transportation costs will have to be borne by the purchaser.
