20ft Container – High Top model

We bought this container brand new in 2020. All new containers come in from China with a full load of clean items such as toys to avoid shipping them empty.

We converted the container into a Tiny Home while were building our new house

We bought a more expensive high top container over a standard height container so we could put a false ceiling in it and fill it with pink batt insulation which keeps it much cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. The walls have been framed out and are also insulated with pink batts. The extra height also makes the container feel bigger inside.

The bathroom has a shower, vanity and toilet. The toilet has a Trevoli macerator pump supplied by pumps online installed behind the toilet. The Toilet, shower and vanity unit all feed into this unit which macerates the waste and can pump it to a septic tank or mains sewage connection. It can pump the waste a considerable distance if the right diameter pipes are used. See info in the photos.

It has a 135 litre hot water cylinder in the bathroom and a extractor fan for the shower.

There is a fresh water supply fitting that can be feed by a garden hosepipe.

The plumbing was done by a registered plumber and all the electrical work was completed by a registered electrician with plenty of power points and an RCD switch board and a 16 amp caravan style external power fitting. A power lead is supplied with the container. There is an external light above the ranch slider and a waterproof external power point.

There is a lockable single glazed ranchslider with 2 x keys

There is a small kitchen unit with a sink and tap suppling hot and cold water.

There is some painting still to be finished but is being sold as is and is available for removal now.

The container is situated between Matakana and Omaha area.

The container can be moved and relocated easily on a standard HIAB.
