Description
A warm and cosy Tiny looking for a new home. I built this beautiful two bedroom Tiny in 2018. Since then I have helped to build 2 Tiny houses within the Kapiti region one of which can be viewed here https://www.livingbiginatinyhouse.com/episodes/ex-airline-pilot-takes-tiny-house-design-to-new-heights/. I am a qualified carpenter and Joiner with more than 20+ years in the industry. The craftsmanship in this Tiny is expressed throughout the creativity which just shines through in this cosy family home. As a family we have decided to sell our much loved home to help us relocate to the south island and begin our next chapter. The build platform is 6.2mx2.4m with a height of 4.250 from ground to roof . Cedar clad exterior for a rustic look. Will come with 6.2m X 2.2m deck which is covered with polycarbonate solar safe roof. Outdoor bathroom located on deck which includes shower, compost toilet and wash basin. 3000 litre water tanks will come with the house if needed. Heaps of kitchen bench space. The trailer was built by Bay engineering Tauranga and is hot dipped galvanised for longevity. It also includes wireless braking system and a twin axel. Because of our love for wood the house is heavy! 3.5 tonne + so the WOF and rego is on hold. Transport would require a professional mover. Currently connected to the freedom kit 8 panel solar system from Grid free including 8 gel batteries and a 5kw inverter which can be connected to the grid and a compatible generator. The price of the solar is not included in this price but is for sale as well if interested. We have been living off grid in our Tiny for 7 years so we have a few extras available for sale if interested such as a trailer set up for collecting water nearby, shed, and more water tanks.

how does the weight impact the wof, do you need any compliance certification by council involved in placement on your property linda120 (351 • 8:21 pm, Wed, 6 Aug )Hi, if the house is overweight for the trailer then legally it can't get a WOF for on the road. If anything happened then the person that warranted it would be the first person responsible. The trailer is rated for 3.500kg on the road. Our house is somewhere Around 4.500kg. The trailer is capable of carrying this weight but just not on the road due to regs. You will have to check with your local council in regards to compliance certificates as different rules apply regionally. Thanks. chris5757 (31 • Wednesday, 6 August 2025 )Hi would like to see clear photos of bathroom please tirader (31 • 11:32 am, Thu, 7 Aug )Hi, could you txt me to my phone number on the advert please?
