Step into this beautifully repurposed refrigeration truck, transformed into a warm, rustic 5.5m x 2.1m x 2.2m living space. Perfect as a portable cabin for one or a couple, it’s designed for occasional moves, not full-time RV life. Fully insulated for year-round comfort (originally built to hold -18°C!).

It features a king-size bed, kitchenette with bar fridge, microwave, mini oven, induction cooktop, plus a composting toilet. Stay powered with a full solar setup—three large 400W roof panels and 550Ah batteries. Enjoy the swivel-mounted TV, aircon/heater, ample built-in storage, a garage compartment, electrical compartment and an outdoor storage box.

The truck’s in great running condition, started every 2-4 weeks, with rego on hold (no COF as I don’t deem it a necessary cost for how I utilise it). It was driven from Hawke’s Bay to Auckland fairly recently and drove beautifully. Before the trip it had a service and a full check over by commercial truck professionals. Despite it being built to be more of a movable cabin I built it to be able to move easily when needed. The little roof detaches, the shutters on the front close to protect the window, the steps fold up, the panels on the back unbolt, etc. It is packed full of features and beautiful touches.

I am reluctantly selling my little home, it has served me very well for the past 5 years. It has been my labor of love and I want to see it go to the right home.
