The Vietz German designed and built pipe and other commodity handling system is here in our yard and ready to go. It comes with the 16 tonne WLL primary driver with Kubota diesel (144 hours) driving the vacuum pump. Its electric start with radio control lift and release from the machine you hang this from, usually a material handler, crane or 30+ tonne digger. The series of three lights alert the operator the status of the load connection when green means the vacuum in the lifting shoe is sufficient and its good to go. The powerful hydraulic rotator fitted as an option from the Vietz factory requires only a two way auxiliary hydraulic service from the lifting machine and gives absolute control over the entire process, no need for tag lines or ground crew in close proximity.

The prime mover comes with a selection of rated and certified shoes for various sizes, lengths, surface textures, types and weights of pipes as you’ll see in the photos. More of these shoes will be available as required for other sizes including for handling flat plate, Steel beams etc..
