I have imported and sold acrylic lamp shades for many years as a retailer. In more recent times I retired and am currently selling from home through Trade me. I have at time of this advert about 1400 shades remaining. You can check my other listings and easily find some of the advertisements. This can earn you a sideline small income for very little effort. The shades come in 2 sizes & several styles & sell for various prices from $4 to $11 per shade or could be more (they actually were more until very recently). You will pay a fraction of that price as I just want to clear the remaining stock now. You will need a bit of storage space to keep costs down (roughly say 3cm) and there will be simple packing to do when you sell. So you would need some parcel tape & a few boxes (I just get mine from the supermarket or warehouse free) You can pick up the stock from the Kapiti coast. They could also sell on Facebook probably. The selling is live so stock qty is fluid. $1 for the business plus + stock at value +Gst if any. (if you are GST registered you may not have to pay it) The stock value will be about a quarter of the actual cost of manufacture so good % profit margins. The stock could all be freighted to a North Island address but obviously that would eat into margins a bit. Very roughly you can get approx $6000 profit return for only a $2000 outlay mostly sold from your armchair & a bit of packing. I use the trade me freight system which is dead easy.
