The Wellington City Mission have been helping people, children, young people and families in need in the Wellington region for 116 years.

We’re able to provide holistic practical support to a broad range of people, from struggling families, solo-parents and our homeless community to vulnerable older people. We provide transitional housing accommodation, food support, financial mentoring, and 1:1, families, and social work support. We also operate a residential care facility called Kemp Home and Hospital, providing rest home and hospital level support, and transitional housing.

From our social workers and community service advocates, to our financial mentors, we work collaboratively and in ways that contribute to the empowerment, transformation, and fullness of life for those we serve.
