The big lettering on the front (대~한민국) is a stylised way of writing “Daehan Minguk” (대한민국), which is simply “Republic of Korea” — what South Koreans chant at football games. The smaller red text above (다시 한번) means “Once again” or “One more time.” The front slogan reads something like: “Once again, Republic of Korea!” (or in the football chant sense: “Go Korea! One more time!”)
The back (the white abstract logo under the collar) is the official 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan logo. That makes this a proper supporter’s rally shirt, not just a generic tee.
How I got it....Kiwi lived in Korea for 18 years. Shirt has been stored since I bought it at the 2002 FIFA World Cup in South Korea. I was at the game and had my other "Be The Reds" shirt on as I was an official fan and bought it. It was an awesome time, lived next to the stadium. Heaps of soju and parties, great memories. "Chincha jamiseo" (really fun). Korea did well in that World Cup under. Shirt is in mint condition and hard to find as it is still in its bag after 23 years. It has been to many countries in suitcases but not damaged. In 2002, I took it out once to look at it, and then put it back in. Never opened again, until doing this ad because I thought it better to show the whole shirt for pictures. It is safe again now in original bag.
