This has been my passion project for 3 years, and my daily driver for 1.

This is a Macintosh Classic shell, with a Mac Mini M1 inside. The ports on the back have been updated. you have access to both USB-A ports, Both USB-C ports, and headphone jack.

You also have the option to run an external monitor through HDMI instead of using the built-in screen - just push the little black button on the back top left.

The built-in display 1024x768 at 75Hz

Just a message to say that looks awesome. And the power switch at the back actually turns the Mac Mini inside off and on? And suppose you could just swap out the Mac Mini unit if you wanted to upgrade it to an M4 etc later? j*******9 (148) • 7:34 pm, Tue, 20 May

Hey! The power switch cuts off power to the Mac mini and screen. The Mac mini is set to turn on automatically when powered so you don’t need to open it up when you want to tirn it on. You could definitely replace the Mac mini - plug and play! scouser84 (184) • Tuesday, 20 May 2025
