I have knitted golf club covers for decades and I have designed this for a Driver/Wood.

Big Bird is a much loved character that makes everyone smile. Cheerful colour and a bit of fun. He does fit a 460CC Driver.

You will need:

Yarn – 8ply Wool 3 x 50g balls yellow pure wool Part ball of light blue wool for eyes Part ball of lilac for the eyes Part ball of white for the eyes Part balls of 2 or 3 colours for a tie

Needles 3.25mm, 4mm and 4.5mm Tapestry Needle Toy stuffing

Tension Double strand 8 ply stst 4.5mm needles 10cm x 10cm 16sts x 23 rows

Stitches Used Back stitch Mattress Stitch

15 inches long 8 inches wide
